Arlington Arts Center

Description: Hold your next private function in the midst of outstanding contemporary art. The Hendry House

Description: This restored turn-of-the-century Victorian home is one of the many unique features of Fort C.F. Smith Park. The rental space offers four separate rooms, front and side porches, and a separate changing room for wedding parties or other such need. The house can accommodate 65 people seated, 85 people standing, or up to 150 people with the addition of a tent on the lawn. This house offers historic elegance in a park setting and is perfect for small business meetings, weddings and other private functions.

Historic Farr House

Description: If you are searching for an intimate setting for your wedding, bridal shower, luncheon, dinner, business meeting, or party, consider this historic home located at 10172 Main Street in the heart of Fairfax City. Built in 1915 by Wilson Farr for his bride Edith Wiley, the colonial revival style home provides the perfect setting for your event. (In fact, the Farr House boasts a long history of parties and gatherings starting with the Farr’s marriage ceremony in November 1915.). Updated and carefully restored in 2001, the tastefully decorated home features floors of Georgia red pine and many restored period details. George Washington Masonic National Memorial

Description: This beautiful historic landmark provides a diverse set of impressive facilities for public and private functions complete with a variety of furnishings and amenities.

It offers quite a variety of event spaces, but most recommended is the Grand Masonic Hall. This room provides a “grand” and elegant setting with its eight massive granite columns which support the entire building. The Lyceum

Description: Centered in the heart of Alexandria, this historic museum is the place to discover the history of Alexandria. Lyon Park Community Center

Oatlands Plantation

Description: The beauty of Virginia is captured in this 19th century mansion with the authentic Virginia plantation styled home. It is furnished by the pieces of Louis XIV, XV, and XVI. In addition to French works it is the home to many American pieces. There is a breakfast room; library, dining room and entry hall then can be used for all types of parties, from weddings to business meetings. It is perfect for small and large parties. It can capacitate up to 500 outside and 75 inside.

Old Town Hall

Description: Built in 1900 and located in the heart of historic Fairfax City, this charming hall is perfect for weddings, receptions, recitals and meetings. Up to 150 can be seated on the first floor, 125 on the second; 250 for standing buffet. Rust Manor House

Burke Lake Park

The 2018-acre lake has fishing, rowboat rentals and a boat launch for private boats (electric motors only). Picnic facilities have space available on a first-come, first-served basis and space for groups of several hundred to reserve. The park has 60 grills, restrooms, parking, playgrounds, playing fields, a miniature train ride, fitness trail, disc golf course, carousel, five-mile walking trail, 18-hole, par three golf course and camping facilities. Ellanor C. Lawrence Park

The park has am executive nine-hole golf course, eight-lighted tennis courts with practice wall, horseshoe pits and shuffle board courts. Lake Accotink Park

The 70-acre lake site includes fishing, boat launch, and canoe, rowboat and paddleboat rentals. The park also has a pontoon boat ride, miniature golf, carousel, restrooms, playgrounds, hiking trails, picnic areas for groups, basketball courts, ballfield, two shelter pavilions suitable for 50-200 persons, and a 3.7-mile jogging trail. Lake Fairfax Park

This 15-acre lake has an Olympic-size out-door pool, wading pool and playground, paddleboat rental, excursion boat ride, carousel and miniature train ride. Lee District Park

The 139-acre park has a recreation center with a full complement of facilities such as racquet courts, and Olympic-size indoor pool, weight room, gymnasium, arcade games, community rooms, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, saunas, spa and sundeck. The park's outdoor facilities include lighted tennis courts, baseball, soccer and football fields, .8-mile running track, open play areas, horse-shoe pits, snack bar, carousel, miniature trainride and restrooms. Mason District Park

This 148-acre park has six lighted tennis courts, two lighted basketball/multi-use courts, a lighted little league field, a lighted soccer field, the Newton W. Edwards Amphitheater a concession stand and two restroom facilities. The park also has a picnic area, shuffleboard courts, game tables, two tot lots, ponds, hiking and interpretive trails, fitness trail, picnic areas for reservable space to accommodate a maximum of 100 people. Nottoway Park

The park has a baseball, little league and softball fields, soccer/football fields, open play areas, restrooms, playground, six lighted tennis courts with practice wall and lighted multiuse courts for volleyball and basketball. The facility also has a 1.5-mile fitness trail, concession stand and picnic area for 200 people, including a 60-person picnic shelter. The 14-acre park has two tennis courts, a basketball court, playground, new nature trail, and shelter suitable 30 persons.
